BAZAAR MEETing

It may only be June next week but Donna is thinking ahead and has planned a Bazaar meeting to be held in the Hutton room on June 13th at 10:00 am. She has asked that all Group leaders please plan to attend and volunteers are always welcome and needed. Donations are being accepted.

SCOUT PANCAKES!

The Scouting group will be offering a Pancake breakfast on June 12th between the two services continuing fundraising for their trip to England in 2018. They plan to serve pancakes, sausage, coffee and tea - $5 per person and start serving at 9:30 am.

July 19th is our Sunday school/parish/Aboriginal Sunday BBQ/feast after the 10:30 service.  We will have our usual BBQ fare plus pot luck salads and desserts.  An extra treat from Pauline will be a taste of venison and goose.  We hope to have some bannock as well, so anyone interested in making and bringing bannock, please do.

The VBS (Summer Day Camp) is set to run from August 2nd to the 5th.  There is programming this year for both daycare aged kids (half day) and school aged kids 9:30-2:00pm.  The theme this year for the school aged kids is, 'Jonah...Lost in the Currents'.  As always we will have a good mix of activities including;  Bible stories, music, indoor and outdoor games, crafts, science, friendship, learning, worship and prayer.  Contact the office for further info and registration.  905-372-3442

Come ride the St. Peter's float July first.  Our theme this year is, 'Meet us on the Front Lawn'. Carrying a representation of folks, we hope, from as many of our ministries as we can gather, including St. George's, the float will present the welcoming, inclusive spirit found here with an invitation to 'Meet us on the Front Lawn' for our Thursday night BBQ & service.  Let Pauline or Jan know if you are in for the ride/walk through town. It is really a great experience smiling, waving,  and 'representing' from one end of town to the other.

50th ANNIVERSARY CAKE

Come join Howard & Karen Goodfellow for cake in the Great Hall after service on Sunday June 12th.
